Vide poche - France - No reserve price!

A vide poche is a small container or tray traditionally placed near the entrance of a home to hold small personal items like keys, coins, or other loose objects that people often carry. Originating from France, the term literally means 'empty pockets.' This functional yet often decorative household accessory helps maintain organization and reduces clutter in living spaces. Vide poches come in a variety of materials and artistic styles, sometimes reflecting craftsmanship or cultural influences. They can be simple and utilitarian or elaborately designed, making them popular as both practical tools and collectible curiosities within interior decor.
