Vide poche - Malachite catchall tray

Malachite catchall trays, or 'vide poche', are small decorative dishes crafted from malachite, a green copper carbonate mineral known for vibrant bands of green shades and eye-catching patterns. Such trays serve practical purposes, organizing keys, coins, or jewelry in homes, while showcasing the striking beauty of natural malachite stone. Valued for its unique colorations and polished finish, malachite has been used in decorative arts for centuries, often associated with luxury and opulence. These catchall trays combine the mineral’s ornamental qualities with functional design, making them elegant additions to dressers, entryways, or desks.
