WMF - Taperstick - Silverplated

This item is a silverplated taperstick produced by WMF, a German company renowned for its quality metal goods and household items. A taperstick is a holder specifically designed to support a taper candle, which is a slender, often tall candle used for elegant lighting or table settings. Silverplated tapersticks offer the gleam and sophistication of silver with a more affordable construction beneath the plating, making them popular decorative pieces in fine dining and formal occasions. WMF's craftsmanship ensures a blend of functionality and style, often featuring intricate designs or smooth polished finishes typical of early 20th century European metalwork. Such tapersticks not only hold candles safely but also contribute to the ambiance and aesthetic of interiors, especially in classic or vintage decors. Collectors often seek out these items for their design, brand heritage, and the charm they add to candlelight settings.
