You Were Taught to Self-Abandon and Feel Shame for Having Needs
You were taught to self-abandon, to believe you deserve little, and to need less.
That is why you may feel deep shame for not being perfect, for setting boundaries, and for simply having needs.
But having needs does not make you weak.
Setting boundaries does not make you selfish.
And not being perfect does not make you unworthy.
Healing begins when you recognise these patterns and stop measuring your worth by how much of yourself you suppress for others.
You are allowed to take up space.
You are allowed to need more.
You are allowed to protect your peace.
