Fleischmann N - 817701K/817702K - Model train passenger carriage (2) - 2× 4-axle express train carriages, 2nd class - NS

Fleischmann is a respected name in the world of model railroading, known for their precision and quality in N scale trains. The N scale, smaller than the more common HO scale, offers enthusiasts the ability to build detailed layouts in compact spaces. This set includes two 4-axle passenger carriages designed as 2nd class express train cars, specifically modeled after those operated by the Dutch national railway company, Nederlandse Spoorwegen (NS). These express train carriages replicate the streamlined design typical of mid-20th century European passenger trains, emphasizing speed and comfort for medium to long-distance travelers. Collectors and modelers appreciate such pieces for their detailed craftsmanship, historically inspired liveries, and the ability to expand or complement existing modular railway setups. The inclusion of 4-axle carriages signifies a focus on both smooth running and prototype accuracy, reflective of the real NS rolling stock used in passenger service.
