Piko N - 40372 - Electric locomotive (1) - Includes spare wheels and mounting hardware in a plastic bag; front number 1115 visible. - NS

Piko's N scale electric locomotive, including spare wheels and mounting hardware, represents a model from the Nederlandse Spoorwegen (NS), the Dutch national railway company. N scale (1:160) is valued for enabling substantial layout complexity within limited space. Piko models are recognized for their build-quality and detail at this small scale. The visible number '1115' hints at a specific locomotive prototype within NS's roster, likely used for regional or commuter electric services. The inclusion of spare parts suggests attention to maintenance and longevity, important for modellers actively running their trains. NS electric locomotives typically reflect efficient, modern Dutch rail service, integrating into layouts themed around contemporary or historical Dutch rail infrastructure.
