Leica Leica-Meter MC / Leica-Meter MR Light meter

The Leica Meter MC and MR are manual light meters crafted for photographers requiring precise exposure readings independent of in-camera metering systems. These meters operate by measuring reflected light and enabling users to set aperture and shutter speed combinations accordingly. Leica, known for its premium photographic tools, designed these meters with accuracy and ergonomic use in mind. Photographers shooting with classic lens systems or manual cameras often rely on such meters to achieve ideal exposures, especially in challenging lighting conditions. Today, these models are appreciated both as functional devices and as collectible pieces reflecting the heritage of Leica's photography equipment.
