Canon FD 2.8/24mm S.S.C. SSC Wide angle lens

The Canon FD 2.8/24mm S.S.C. (Super Spectra Coating) is a wide-angle prime lens designed for Canon's manual focus FD series cameras. With a 24mm focal length, it is well-suited for landscape, architecture, and interior photography, providing an expansive field of view that captures more of a scene than standard lenses. The bright f/2.8 aperture allows for better low-light performance and creative depth-of-field control. The S.S.C. coating reduces lens flare and ghosting, enhancing contrast and color fidelity. Canon's FD lenses are celebrated for their optical quality and mechanical precision, and this particular lens is a favorite among photographers using older Canon film cameras or adapting lenses to modern digital systems.
